  • Go to ‘Apps’ by clicking on the ‘Settings’ menu.
  • Open the ‘Email’ app and enter the details of your Bellsouth email account. It includes the email service provider name, username, and password.
  • Enter the email address along with the domain name in the next field to get into the setup window.
  • Select the ‘Account type’. It can be POP3 or IMAP.
  • Now, coming to the incoming server settings. Most of the times, your kindle will automatically fetch the settings. If not, you can configure manually by clicking on the ‘Manual settings’ link.
  • Enter port number, incoming mail server address, and Static IP address.
  • Enter 995 in the port number and server name in the next field.
  • For IMAP account type, select ‘IMAP’ and enter a complete email address.
  • After you have done with incoming settings, now comes outgoing server. Enter the details as per asked. You will get the details of the settings on-screen. If due to some reason, you are not being able to configure the outgoing settings, you can contact experts.
  • Enter 587 in the port number and email address in the domain name field.
  • You will be asked to select the security type for both the servers. Select ‘Automatic’ for both.
  • Select the time interval after which you want your Kindle to check for new email.
  • Enter username in the next window. You can set any username by which your addressee will recognize you. This username will appear on the receiver screen when he receives any mail from your side.
  • Tap ‘Done’ to finish the setup. You can go through the demo tour if required. In this, all the major features are explained along with examples. Don’t forget to save all the settings done so far by clicking the ‘Save’ option.
